The Structure Plan is the development guideline for Churchlands Green. It is meticulously created by expert town planners before being thoroughly reviewed and approved by the City of Stirling and the West Australian Planning Commission. It sets out the layout of the estate and density of the lots. It is the masterplan that contributes to creating an attractive, liveable and dynamic community.

The modifications aim to deliver a more diverse range of housing to meet the change in market conditions. Traditionally dominated by lower density, larger lots, demand is now growing for a greater choice in lot size and configuration.

Churchlands Green has responded to market feedback by providing lots that are more affordable, and suitable for couples and singles of all age-groups including first home-buyers, people looking to ‘downsize’, and retirees.

Another modification is the introduction of laneways to the lots adjacent to Cromarty Road. There will be numerous benefits as a result of this change. This will assist in the redirection of traffic to localised areas within the Estate, reducing traffic movement on to Cromarty Road. In addition, the removal of garages from the front of these homes will improve the streetscape’s visual outlook.

Overall the changes are minor and reflect an improved design and practicality for the Estate and its surrounds. Local residents can rest assured that all changes to the Structure Plan are in keeping with the wider Churchlands area and are reviewed by City of Stirling. Your feedback and comments are welcomed on this matter.
